PURPOSE To outline customer rights and processes for returning goods purchased from DeadlyScience, in compliance with Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
SCOPE Applies to all physical goods sold or distributed by DeadlyScience via the online store, events, or direct sales channels.
GUIDING PRINCIPLES • DeadlyScience ensures products meet acceptable quality and are accurately described. • Customers are entitled to remedies under ACL for faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied goods. • Refunds are provided where required by law or in circumstances approved by management.
RETURNS ELIGIBILITY A return may be accepted where: • The item is faulty, damaged, or not as described. • Proof of purchase is provided (e.g., order confirmation, receipt). • The request is made within 30 days of delivery. Change-of-mind returns are not generally accepted, unless approved by management and the item is returned unopened and in saleable condition.
PROCESS 1. Email orders@deadlyscience.org.au with order number, description, and reason for return. 2. The DS team will confirm eligibility and issue a Return Authorisation Number (RAN). 3. Returned items must be securely packaged and posted to: DeadlyScience Ltd, PO Box 244, Port Macquarie NSW 2444 4. Upon inspection, refunds or replacements will be processed within 10 business days. EXCLUSIONS • Digital downloads, event tickets, or educational resources with open access are non-returnable once delivered. • Items damaged through misuse or neglect are not eligible for return.
