Pathways to STEM Careers Webinar with Tiahni Adamson and Dr Guy Cameron

Join us on Wednesday, 2nd September for our Pathways to STEM Careers Webinar, featuring two inspiring First Nations STEM leaders who are using science, research and knowledge to create change across conservation, health and community.

Meet Our Speakers

Tiahni Adamson – Kaurareg science communicator and National Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Engagement Manager at Bush Heritage Australia, helping to protect over 20 million hectares of land and sea Country. Tiahni will share her journey from wildlife biology to national conservation leadership, showing learners how First Nations Knowledge, climate action and STEM careers connect to caring for Country.

Dr Guy Cameron – Proud descendant of the Ngemba Wailwan people, scientist and doctor passionate about improving health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

After years of scientific research focused on children’s ear infections, Guy has combined his passion for research and healthcare through medicine — working to improve our understanding of infections, disease and health equity for our mob.

Learners will discover how STEM can be used to care for Country, improve health outcomes and address real-world challenges. They’ll hear firsthand how First Nations Knowledge, scientific research and community-driven innovation are shaping the future of STEM.
