For many children in rural, regional and remote Queensland, the word “scientist” conjures a very specific, and often inaccessible, image: Albert Einstein in a white lab coat.
For Kamilaroi man Corey Tutt, founder and CEO of Deadly Science, this stereotype is more than just a cliché - it’s a barrier that has long excluded First Nations people and regional youth from the world of STEM.
