Deadly Learners is a virtual series that engages remote and rural schools with STEM experts and legends from around Australia. These sessions give young Indigenous students a chance to learn key ideas, meet STEM professionals, ask questions and share knowledge.

In partnership with Australia Post, we have helped create teacher guides and classroom activities which explore the annual National Science Week theme.

Our generous partners help us fund our programs and the resources we provide to Indigenous students in regional and remote schools across Australia.

Place a request for resources here and receive a voucher for up to $1000 from Modern Teaching Aids to purchase resources for the classroom.

Currently we work with over 800 schools to deliver STEM resources to children in remote and regional communities across Australia. We feel its time to acknowledge those going above and beyond to end STEM poverty.

Each month we will award a school/s
as the School of the Month to
acknowledge their commitment to
ending STEM poverty. Email the team at admin@deadlyscience.org.au to register your interest.

In partnership with Australian Geographic, we have produced  eight books (with two more due for release early 2024).

Modern Teaching Aids have put together a range of learning packs based on the knowledge in these books. They teach scientific principles with a key focus on Indigenous knowledge and wisdom. Introduce children to a uniquely Australian understanding of the world around us.
